“ I believe that this is a good chance to recognize Iranian-American high school students, and give them a chance to showcase for their community their achievements both inside and outside of school. “
Mike Khalilpour – class of 2000
“I thank IAPSO for offering Iranian-Americans the opportunity to combine their academic endeavors with the Persian culture.” Sarah Roxana Ramsay class of 2001
“Please continue the scholarship Program. Funding an Iranian-American scholarship provides encouragement for younger generation to motivate and involve themselves in their studies knowing that their culture will support their achievements and drive for success.” Hoda Pishvaie -class of 2001
“I think it is a very good idea to encourage our children. They will see and meet new people. I also think that we have someone in this country who think and cares about us.” Payam Samizadeh, class of 2001
“ IAPSO is an exemplary program that celebrates the accomplishments of today’s youth. It was an honor to be recognized by such an organization. I hope that people realize the need and importance of IAPSO in this community. Once again, IAPSO thank you for the honor.” Anahita Abedini
•“ Thank you for your Support of Persian Students! “Parvaneh Givi, class of 2001
•“ This is a great program to provide opportunities for young Iranian-Americans to be recognized in the community. I thank IAPSO for their effort and encourage everyone to participate in this wonderful program.” Neda Maghboulen, class of 2001
•“IAPSO scholarship program is a great opportunity for young Iranians to be recognized for their achievements. Year after year I am impressed with this program, as it develops and expands.”
Zeina Ghezel, class of 1995
“ By providing an opportunity for young Iranians to be recognized for their achievements, IAPSO links the cultural gap between Iranian youth to their rich history. I believe these scholarship awards motivate applicants to reflect on their culture and encourage them to express their thoughts concerning their identity. I feel gratitude and pride that such an organization exists within the Portland metropolitan area. I hope that the youth of this community will continue in the efforts and endeavors of this organization in the future. “
Targol Saedi, Class of 1997
